what is telehealth and how does it work?

Telehealth is therapy between a licensed mental health professional and a client who meet online rather than at a physical location. This means we can meet from the convenience and comfort of your own home or workplace. You will need a working computer or phone with a webcam, stable internet connection in a private and quiet room. 

I use a secure and HIPAA compliant online video-conferencing system called Simple Practice.

who can you work with?

Since I am licensed in the state of Texas, I’m trained to provide telehealth to all individuals, couples, and families living in Texas. Give me a call to see if you qualify for telehealth services.


I just booked my first appointment! what’s next?

Congratulations on making an investment in yourself! It takes a lot of courage to ask for help. Please complete the online paperwork 24 hours in advance, and prior to our meeting, you will receive an email with a link to our telehealth session. Please wait for me in my virtual waiting room until I start the call. I look forward to meeting you!


what can I expect in the first session?

You can expect a safe, trusting, nurturing, and compassionate therapist on the other side of your screen ready to listen and care. I will invite you to share your concerns, hopes, and goals for therapy.


how long is session, what is the cost, and how do I pay?

The cost of therapy depends on the type of service and length of session. Individual sessions cost $150 per 50 minutes, and Couples and Family/Group sessions cost $170 per 60 minutes. Sliding scale or reduced fee is offered on a limited basis. I accept all major credit cards.

do you accept Insurance?

I do not accept insurance nor do I communicate with insurance companies. However, at your request, I can provide you with a Superbill, which you can submit to your insurance company for Out-of-Network Reimbursement. 

Please be aware that a Superbill requires a psychiatric diagnosis, and that not all services are reimbursable. It is solely your responsibility to contact your insurance provider to determine if they will reimburse you directly.
